Holdak Chicken (Korean Food)


1 kg Whole Chicken (cut into 12 pc)

Marinate chicken with :

1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Black pepper

Inggredients :

2 tbsp Flour
10 tbsp Potato Starch
1 tsp Baking soda
1 Egg

Sauce :

4 tbsp Soy Sauce
1 clove  Garlic (di haluskan)
4 tbsp Hot pepper paste (Gojujang)
1 tsp Vinegar
Sesame seed for garnish


How to cook :

1. Rinse chicken with cold water. Drain.
2. Marinate Chicken about 30 minute. Drain.
3. Add potato starch powder, all purpose flour and egg.  Mix well until the flour coating the chicken.
4. Fry chicken with high heat until 10 minute, let them out for a few minute. And fry again for another 10 minute until golden brown. We need double fried for making chicken more crunchy.
5. While fry chicken, we make the sauce saute the all sauce ingredients and bring it to boil.
6. Mix well the chicken and sauce together. 
7. And ready to serve with sesame seed on the top.
